Lapis Lazuli is a cobalt blue semi-precious stone that has been mined since the 7th millenium BC. Lapis means "stone" and Lazuli means "heaven or sky". Lapis Lazuli is used as a healing stone to balance the throat chakra, benefitting the throat, larynx and vocal chords. It is also widely used in meditation practices to reveal higher truths, intellect and learning.
